A rather peculiar boat photographed on 2 October 2005. Advertised for sale in November 2006, with the following being an extract of the details:
Multipurpose expedition & research vessel with year-round living capabilities. Designed by JEA Marine Consulting, Sweden. Built: 2002, Tjörn Shipyard, Rönnäng, Sweden. Yard no: 130. Material: Steel hull, aluminium superstructure. Double glass in side lights and windows, 12+6 mm material thickness. Built to handle ice conditions. Keel of 18mm steel filled with 3.2 tons of lead. Built in five watertight sections. Length: 14.95 meters Beam: 5.95 meters Draft: 2.76 meters Tonnage: 89 GT, 26 NT Main engine: Cummins 6 CTA 8.3 M, 255 bHp at 1800 rpm.

I must admit I am surprised to find Mira on this site where my other boats also appear. Crum. would apreciate a contact.
