The monitor Sölve was built in 1875 at Motala Warf (Yard) in Norrköping and was withdrawn from the fleet in 1920, when she was converted into an oil barge. The name "monitor" came from John Ericsson's famous ironclad Monitor, which was built in 1862.
Length: 39.8 m, Beam: 8 m, Draught: 2.5 m, Displacement: 460 tons.
155 hp engine. Now usually berthed in the Maritime Museum in Gothenburg, but on this occasion seen at Nya Elfsorg fortress.
