FLYING PHANTOM

A view of the Clyde Shipping tug in November 1981 just prior to delivery from Ferguson's at Port Glasgow.
She became the longest serving tug under Clyde Shipping, Cory, Wijsmuller and Svitzer until December 2007 when she capsized with the loss of 3 of her 4 crew off the former John Brown yard at Clydebank in thick fog when assisting a large bulker upriver to Glasgow.
