Sister boat to Älvsnabben 4, delivered from Båtservice Holding in Mandal, Norway, in 1995. There are 158 seats in the salon, and 80 seats on the sundeck. The maximum passenger capacity is 448. There is a coffee machine onboard for the passengers. The length is 31.55 m and the beam is 8.15 m. There are two Penta TAMD122 engines with a total output of 760 hp, driving fixed propellers. The service speed is 12.5 knots but on the Göta Älv as here, the speed is limited to 11 knots.
