9/6/2012. River Dart - Devon

As soon as I saw this beauty I thought they must have been filming the next 007 film!
It says Legend on the side but whether that is the name or the make I do not know.
There is no name on the bow and I saw nothing on the stern.
Second photo see picture #5901

Charter yacht, Legend, ex-Jamaica Bay. Accommodation 12 guests in 6 cabins. Steel hull, length 51.25 m (168 ft), Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines, 1, 465 hp, speed 15 knots. Refitted in 2010-11. Originally built in 1987.
I think the mast on the bow is horrible and spoils the otherwise elegant lines!
I thought you hated the water, John! Running out of trains to photograph (like me)?

Too true I hate the water. The trip on the Dart was to compensate Jan for letting me loose in the Heritage Show at Churston.(and round the workshops!!)
Amazingly I wasn't sick!!!
I have to say that the skipper of the Edgecombe Belle was brilliantly funny with his commentary.
