Anderton Boat Lift

The Anderton Boat Lift allows boats to travel the River Weaver and the Trent and Mersey Canal in Cheshire, this massive sructure undertook restoration late 90's and reopened in 2002 I think.
Anybody remotely interested in this should pay it a visit.
