She is a grab dredger

Her name is Welsh, maybe taken along the N/S Wales coast.

Photo taken in Victoria Dock Caernarfon.Seiont II was a grab dredger and served the local Harbour Trust for many years. Owned by the Seiont Maritime Trust following end of service until she was beyond repair and broken up in Port Dinorwic in the early 1990s. I remember her well under steam - she was kept going by a very dedicated team of enthusiasts and used, on one occasion, to recover the second original anchor of HMS Conway from the Menai Strait. Andrew. Sorry for delay in responding. Small museum is on edge of Doc and the photo was taken from where the museum is. Manned by volunteers and opening times are not regular I don't think. Best check with local tourist information office in Caernarfon I wuld suggest.
