Possibly the most pleasing on the eye vessel at Holyhead, the Tamar is a Smit vessel, undertaking wet drill's with the RAF outside of Holyhead.
She is seen here returning to port.

Built as an ambulanceboat to the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway and was named "Svein Magne". Reached 44 knots, but was originally shorter.

Length added at the bow I would say. 44 knots no slouch is she. Any pictures of her Tom?

She was really a beast! Length added to the stern. Got a few photos of her in rough seas in Lofoten. I'll try adding them.
